  • 1.5 cups green beans, trimmed to 2 inch size

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano

  • 1 tablespoon parsley

  • 1 tablespoon dried basil

  • 1 tablespoon thyme.

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 32-ounce can whole peeled tomatoes, (Mutti brand or fire roasted for best flavor)

  • 4 cups low sodium vegetable broth, or water

  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • 1-2 cups fresh baby spinach, or kale chopped
